This interactive story is a continuation to the storyline that was begun in Cursed Land and has continued until Purely Evil, a crossover between the two movies The Locals and Thunderheart. It’s also a direct sequel to the Kingdom Hospital fic All Alone.
The statue has been destroyed, but its effects are still resonating through both the reservation Walter Crow Horse and Ray Levoi live on, along with the stretch of land Martin owns and lives on, along with his two younger partners, Grant and Paul.
And now, the effects have reached Kingdom Hospital, guarded by the ancient spirit of Anubis and his once-mortal partner Doctor Hook.
They’re not all safe yet. They’re not all out of the woods. And this final trial is going to be the hardest one yet.
You have the choice to follow and control three separate characters through this interactive story.
Ray Levoi
An FBI agent working as a liaison to the Bear Creek Sherriff’s Department. He’s in a relationship with Walter Crow Horse, living on the reservation with him and working together to solve major crimes. However, in their personal lives, Walter is definitely the one in charge. Ray’s own experiences with the statue and its powers were very limited and he was a true sceptic until seeing one of the dead for himself.
Grant
Only a short handful of years ago, he was a college student with barely a care in the world. And then he and his best friend, Paul, got stuck on cursed land that brought the dead back to life. It forced Grant to grow up very quickly and made him determined to fight for what he wanted. He removed the cursed statue from the land, bringing back to life the two men he loved. But instead of destroying the statue, all he could do was move it somewhere else and, therefore, transfer the curse elsewhere.
Anubis
An ancient guardian, Anubis was bound to the land where Kingdom Hospital now stands many centuries ago. Cursed only to watch the events unfolding and never interfere, he kept to those rules until the unjust murder of a little girl, Mary. He kept her spirit with him until the time was right and then manipulated events to allow the residents of the hospital to save her and change the present. His visible appearance varies depending on the person interacting with him. Mary’s mispronunciation of his name (Antubis) made him appear to be an anteater.
