Gamora might not have been changed in the way that Nebula was, but her life wasn’t much easier when Thanos adopted her. After all, she was still in a fight to survive; and she’d witnessed half of her planet’s death at the hands of Thanos’ minions as a child.

Despite their differences, Gamora and Nebula were eventually able to reconcile…even though it was a long, hard road. And while they do still relate to each other in a more violent way, they’re still sisters. They still care deeply for each other. Even if they don’t find that as easy to show as the other members of the family do.

Gamora’s conflicts haven’t just been with the sister she grew up with; after first being adopted by Coulson, she antagonised Bobbi by borrowing the latter’s shirt after Bobbi became upset due to being refused to allow to train until she was at her normal age once more. After Coulson dealt with Bobbi, Gamora did apologise…without actually saying the words.

Peter Q. is also very important to Gamora, despite his often juvenile behaviour. And even though he was deaged and appeared to be a teenager when they were reunited again, the two of them have a close relationship, in spite of everything that’s happened.
